As Billboard announced today, festival organizers added several main stage acts while teasing a yet-to-be-announced major headliner who will join yet another stellar line-up for the Mid-West’s favorite country music festival.

“Country Thunder Wisconsin has established itself as a must-see event every summer in beautiful Twin Lakes,” says Country Thunder Music Festivals CEO, Troy Vollhoffer “The fans in this part of the world make the Country Thunder experience special, and we are truly excited to announce these headliners for them.

In addition to headlines, artists set to take the stage include emerging stars, Michael Ray, Ashley McBryde, HIGH VALLEY, Lindsay Ell and LOCASH, country legends Trace Adkins, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives and the original line-up of LONESTAR, red-hot up-and-comers, the James Barker Band, Hunter Brothers, Jimmie Allen, Jameson Rodgers and a promise of many more to come.

Jared Ashley Releases “Cherrybend” From Forthcoming New Album

Jared Ashley Releases “Cherrybend” From Forthcoming New Album

Cherrybend is now available on iTunesSpotify, Amazon and more!

“I hope that this song and music video reaches as many people as possible. The statistic, that 22 American veterans commit suicide everyday, is hard to fathom. I think this music video and song does a great job of illustrating some of the things that go through veterans’ heads and what they are dealing with.
Corporal. Josh Sams (U.S. Marines Corp.) Retired

Jared Ashley is definitely one to keep your eyes on and ears tuned in. We anticipate you will be hearing, and seeing, a lot from Jared in the coming months. “Cherrybend” hits country radio on Nov 6, and is going to make for a great addition on the country radio airwaves.
CMR Music Reviews

Nashville, TN. – Nashville recording artist and Navy veteran Jared Ashley released a new single “Cherrybend.” “Cherrybend” is inspired by Operation Cherrybend, an annual event held in Wilmington, Ohio that strives to thank our nation’s wounded veterans and to spread awareness about veterans’ issues. The week-long event includes activities at Cherrybend Pheasant Farm and a country music concert at the Murphy Theatre. Ashley wrote “Cherrybend” along with Nashville-based singer-songwriter Rick Tiger. Tiger and Ashley wrote “Cherrybend” after spending a week with veterans at Cherrybend Pheasant Farm and debuted the song during the 2017 Operation Cherrybend concert. The country song is about how Cherrybend Pheasant Farm is a place of refuge and has a supportive community for veterans.

“Last year, when I played an acoustic version of “Cherrybend” at the Murphy Theatre, it had an effect on people. Out of all the songs I’ve written, it is one I’m most proud of because of what it means to people,” said Tiger. Ashley and Tiger gave an exclusive premiere of the “Cherrybend” music video at the Murphy Theatre during the 2018 Operation Cherrybend concert in September. The music video was shot in various locations around Clinton County and stars Wilmington, Ohio native, Marine Corps veteran Corporal Josh Sams. Sams lost both legs after stepping on an IED while on foot patrol in Afghanistan in 2012. His character in the music video struggles with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

“I hope that this song and music video reaches as many people as possible. The statistic, that twenty-two American veterans commit suicide everyday, is hard to fathom. I think this music video does a great job of illustrating some of the things that go through veterans’ heads and what they are dealing with. I hope that people can create an environment like Operation Cherrybend in other places, a place where veterans can talk about life, relax and know everything is going to be okay,” said Sams.

The “Cherrybend” music video has been viewed over 60,000 times on Facebook. Ashley’s character in the”Cherrybend” music video pays homage to Jeffery “Ozzy” Otzwik, a Navy veteran Ashley served with. “Ozzy sadly took his own life. I’ve always wanted to pay tribute to him. Twenty-two veterans commit suicide every single day in the United States. I hope that this song and music video raise awareness to that statistic. It needs to change. Let’s show our veterans how much we love them and support them,” said Ashley.

About Jared Ashley:
With his high-energy live shows and distinctive country rock sound, Jared Ashley has built his career on the little things—“I’m very particular,” he says. “From the stage movement to harmonies to the way the bass and drums play off one another, it all matters. As a songwriter, I even like all the little words to matter, the ‘thes’ and ‘ands’ and ‘buts,’” he explains. And little by little, all the elements have come together to make Jared Ashley one of Nashville’s most promising rising artists.

Tune In: Tim Atwood To Make Appearance On Huckabee For Veterans Day Special

Tune In: Tim Atwood To Make Appearance On Huckabee For Veterans Day Special

Also, the City of Peoria and State of Illinois honors native Tim Atwood with Proclamations

Nashville, Tenn. – Country music veteran Tim Atwood will make an appearance on Trinity Broadcasting Network’s (TBN) Huckabee for a special Veterans Day episode on November 10th at 8 pm ET / 7 pm CT. Atwood will perform his latest single “I’ll Stand Up And Say So” live and share memories from his 38 year career at the Grand Ole Opry and nearly 50 years in country music.

“On this Veteran’s Day weekend, I am honored to perform my song “I’ll Stand Up And Say So,” on Huckabee. Every episode of Huckabee stands for God, family and country. Governor Huckabee isn’t ashamed to share his personal beliefs and values with the world and neither am I,” says Atwood. “I began to sing “I’ll Stand Up And Say So” when the football players began to take a knee on the field during our national anthem. I understand that this country gives them the right to kneel, but what they see as a peaceful protest, I see as disrespect for the American flag, and those men and women who lost their lives serving to protect all that it stands for.”

On October 26th, United States Representative Darin LaHood and City of Peoria, Illinois Mayor Jim Ardis, honored country music veteran Tim Atwood with both a Proclamation from the 18th Congressional District of Illinois and the City of Peoria. Both Proclamations acknowledge and honor the contributions that Tim Atwood has made in his nearly fifty year career in country music.

“I’ve spent over forty years of my life in Nashville, Tennessee. After performing on the Grand Ole Opry, I now travel the country taking my music to the fans. But, no matter where I find myself, Illinois is in my heart, and Peoria will forever be my home. It was a great honor to be recognized by Mayor Ardis and Representative LaHood. I hope I made my hometown proud because I’m proud to be from my hometown,” says Atwood.

With recent appearances on Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family, Fox News, RFD-TV’s Larry’s Country Diner, and a busy tour schedule, audiences understand the long time veteran of the Grand Ole Opry stage is more than a singer; more than a pianist; Tim Atwood is an entertainer and a dynamic country showman.

Tune in on November 10th at 8 pm ET/ 7pm CT and November 11th at 8 pm ET/ 7 pm CT to Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). (For west coast viewers: 5 pm PT)
