Pop/R&B Singer/Songwriter Aname’ Rose recently released her new single, “Bye” with PCG Artist Development and for Digital Distribution of the single throughout the United States and Canada to all terrestrial Top 40 radio stations by AllAccess.com. Aname’ (pronounced (uh-nom-ay), entered the music scene as a contestant on American Idol where her group advanced to the first two rounds in Hollywood. DON McLEAN + HOME FREE WIN THREE TELLY AWARDS FOR SPECIAL COLLABORATION OF “AMERICAN PIE”

“American Pie,” one of the most recognizable and sing-a-long songs, in which, RIAA named one of the top 5 songs of the 20th century, is an iconic anthem by American singer and songwriter Don McLean. Recorded and released on the American Pie album in 1971, the single was the number-one US hit for four weeks in 1972 starting January 15 after just eight weeks on the Billboard charts (where it entered at number 69). The song also topped the charts in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. In the UK, the single reached number 2, where it stayed for 3 weeks, on its original 1971 release, and a reissue in 1991 reached number 12. Now, 50 years later, the song "American Pie" has been re-recorded with McLean and vocal group Home Free. This version is the first studio collaboration ever done by McLean with any other artist, his only other known recording is with Garth Brooks on Brook’s LIVE album, which was recorded at Central Park in New York City.

Lacy J. Dalton Celebrates The 40th Anniversary Of “Takin’ It Easy”

Country hit-maker Lacy J. Dalton celebrates the 40th anniversary of her album and hit title track “Takin’ It Easy,” which was released in July of 1981. Co-written by Dalton, Mark Sherill, and Billy Sherill, the song was the highest-charting single of Dalton’s career, having reached number 2 on Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart and received a Million Airplay Award from BMI. Perfectly fitting for the easygoing tune, the vision for “Takin’ It Easy” came to life by Dalton and Mark while on a boat in the middle of Old Hickory Lake near Nashville, before being taken to Billy for production. Once released, it became one of Dalton’s most well-known songs to date. Other chart-toppers off “Takin’ It Easy” include fan favorites, “Everybody Makes Mistakes” and “Wild Turkey.”

The Wrestling Collection Signs WWE Hall Of Famer, And Professional Wrestling Icon, Hacksaw Jim Duggan

The Wrestling Collection, a division of 16 Creative, Inc., has signed WWE Hall Of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan for exclusive brand representation. The signing marks the first project launch since the company was officially announced on May 16th. Hacksaw joins his longtime friend and frequent opponent the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase as part of a quickly growing roster of legendary wrestlers.

Today, Lee Greenwood along with Louis and Patti Breland of Breland Homes announced a partnership with Helping a Hero to provide a custom-built home for a wounded warrior in north Alabama as part of the All-Star Salute to Lee Greenwood event. Helping a Hero has launched the “Nominate a Hero” program where the community can nominate a wounded veteran for consideration to be selected as a home recipient.
