By 9 years of age she had created her own personal style which combined flamenco with contemporary dance and classical ballet and she premiered her first production in Denmark using this choreography. She began teaching her method of dance when she was 13 years old and some of her students included dancers from The Royal Danish Ballet School and Cirque Du Soleil. Since 2013, Selene Muñoz, in association with Danzart, has produced a wide range of dance productions, including ‘Libertad’ (2014) and ‘Presence’ (2016), which were both very well received.
