MUSIC AND FILM BELONG TOGETHER

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — October 6, 2026 — The entertainment industry is coming together in Music City as recording artists, songwriters, filmmakers, actors, directors, producers and entertainment professionals prepare to gather for the 2026 Infinity Music & Film Awards, October 7–8 at the historic Troubadour Theatre at 2416 Music Valley Drive in Nashville, Tennessee.

Infinity is more than an awards ceremony. It represents a belief that exceptional creativity deserves to be seen, heard and recognized — whether it comes from an internationally established filmmaker, a veteran recording artist, an independent producer, an actor, a songwriter waiting for a breakthrough, or a new filmmaker presenting a story to the world for the first time.
At the heart of Infinity is a message that is becoming increasingly important throughout entertainment: MUSIC AND FILM BELONG TOGETHER. Music gives motion pictures an emotional voice. Film gives music a visual world. A song can define an unforgettable scene, while a motion picture can introduce an artist and song to millions. Infinity brings those creative worlds into the same room.
HOLLYWOOD MEETS NASHVILLE
Among the acclaimed filmmakers associated with Infinity is director, writer and producer Sean McNamara, co-founder with producer David Brookwell of Brookwell McNamara Entertainment. McNamara’s directing career includes Soul Surfer, Reagan, BAU: Artist at War and Soul on Fire. Together, McNamara and Brookwell have built a production partnership spanning feature films, documentaries and hundreds of television episodes.
At the 2025 Infinity Music & Film Awards, Infinity honored McNamara with Film of the Year for BAU: Artist at War. His recognition in 2025 represents something important for Infinity: established entertainment professionals and independent creators can share the same room, celebrate the same creative spirit and discover opportunities to work together.
RANDALL FRANKS — MUSIC, TELEVISION AND FILM
Actor, entertainer, musician, director and producer Randall Franks is another example of what the Infinity philosophy represents. Known to television audiences for portraying Officer Randy Goode on In the Heat of the Night, Franks has built a multifaceted career encompassing music, television, acting, directing and producing.
At the 2025 Infinity Music & Film Awards in Nashville, Franks was nominated for Film Director of the Year and Film Producer of the Year for The American’s Creed. His 2025 nominations demonstrate why Infinity refuses to place creativity inside one box: musicians, actors, directors, producers and filmmakers are all storytellers, and at Infinity they belong on the same stage.
For 2026, Franks has five Infinity nominations spanning vocals, songwriting, music production, music-video production and the video “Down Yonder Too.”
BRIGHT MORNING STAR FILMS — INDEPENDENT FILM AT INFINITY
The growing Infinity film community also includes Bright Morning Star Films and members of its filmmaking family, including Jack Hager, Michael Giancana, John Newman, Johnny Reeves and Weiss Night, along with actor Mike Charest and other creative professionals connected with their productions.
Bright Morning Star Films has been associated with independent productions including Child of Love, Great White Throne Judgment, Driven and Miracle on Shelby Street. Child of Love was among the works receiving recognition at Infinity in 2025. That recognition reflects an essential part of Infinity’s mission: giving independent filmmaking a meaningful place alongside independent music.
2025 SHOWED WHAT INFINITY COULD BECOME
The 2025 Infinity Music & Film Awards brought together an extraordinary range of creative talent. Sean McNamara received Film of the Year for BAU: Artist at War. Ren Kidd received Song of the Year for “However Long Forever Is.” Child of Love also received Infinity recognition. Across the celebration, filmmakers, actors, musicians, songwriters, directors and producers were honored as one creative community.
Infinity believes a filmmaker and a songwriter do not have to compete for which art form matters most. Both matter. One moment can belong to a filmmaker; the next can belong to a recording artist, actor, songwriter, producer, director or emerging independent creator.
FROM NASHVILLE TO LOS ANGELES, NEW YORK, CHICAGO AND BEYOND
Infinity takes place in Nashville, but its vision extends far beyond Tennessee.
Nashville. Los Angeles. New York. Chicago. Atlanta. And beyond. Every entertainment community has its own history and identity, but creators everywhere share something fundamental: they want their work to matter, they want audiences to see and hear it, and they want meaningful opportunities to connect.
An award should mean more than something sitting on a shelf. It should say: We saw your work. We heard your music. We watched your film. Your creativity mattered.
BUILDING A BRIDGE BETWEEN HOLLYWOOD AND MUSIC CITY
Nashville will always be known throughout the world as Music City. Infinity believes that makes Nashville an extraordinary place for music and film to meet. This is not about turning Nashville into Hollywood. It is about building a bridge between them.
Imagine a Los Angeles filmmaker meeting a Nashville songwriter; an independent actor meeting a producer; a director discovering the perfect song for a future motion picture; or a recording artist meeting the filmmaker who can transform a song into a powerful visual story. Conversations become relationships. Relationships become collaborations. Collaborations become productions. Productions can change careers.
WHAT INFINITY STANDS FOR
Infinity stands for creativity without boundaries. It stands for established professionals willing to recognize tomorrow’s talent, independent creators who refuse to quit, artists who have spent decades perfecting their craft, and newcomers walking onto an awards-show red carpet for the first time.
A great story can begin anywhere. A great song can be written anywhere. A great film can come from anywhere. Sometimes all a creator needs is for somebody to say: WE SEE YOU.
TO EVERYONE COMING TO INFINITY 2026 — WELCOME
To every nominee, filmmaker, recording artist, actor, director, producer, songwriter, musician, record label, manager, publicist, photographer, member of the media, family member and fan traveling to Nashville: WELCOME TO INFINITY.
Some will arrive with decades of professional credits behind their names. Others will walk their first major red carpet. Both belong here. Every legendary career once belonged to someone hoping for an opportunity. Every great movie began as an idea. Every great song began with a word, melody or feeling. And every successful creator had a moment when someone believed.
WHY THE NAME INFINITY?
Because there is always more: another song to write, another movie to make, another performance to give, another story to tell, another artist waiting to be discovered, another filmmaker waiting for an opportunity, another collaboration and another chapter. Creativity has no finish line. That is Infinity.
